Web browser problems: common fixes
If something isn't working as expected, such as buttons not responding, audio not playing, or pages not loading properly, it might be a browser issue. Here's how to get back on track.
1. Supported browsers
We support:
- Google Chrome (and some Chrome-based browsers like Brave, Edge, Arc)
- Safari
Other browsers may partly work, but aren't tested during development and may have unexpected issues.
2. Using mobile?
If you're experiencing trouble on a mobile browser, we recommend:
- Trying the same action on Desktop
- Letting us know about the mobile issue. We're actively improving mobile support, and your feedback helps
Some features (like line learning, teleprompter, or long scripts) work best on desktop. Consider using the mobile app for the best experience on phone and tablet.
3. Microphone access denied?
If you're using voice recording or live reading features:
- Make sure your browser has permission to access your mic
- Check browser settings or system privacy settings
Still having trouble?
If the problem continues:
- Try switching to a different supported browser (from Chrome to Safari or vice versa)
- Try a different device
- Reach out and tell us:
- What browser/device you're using
- What you were trying to do
- Any error messages or unexpected behavior
